Heather Zick has been a part of the interior design world for over a decade allowing her to express her life's passion for creating beautiful spaces.

“My passion for all things “home” began when I was a little kid. My mother, who is an artist, encouraged creativity by surrounding myself and my brothers with endless amounts of art supplies and the space and time to explore. She instilled in us the idea that we were capable of creating anything and that any presumed mistake could easily be corrected through further creativity. She would constantly say to us, “Think like an artist. Artists are clever. Turn a mistake into something else.” I always loved the feeling of freedom and acceptance in that message and it colored the way I saw art and design into my future.”

Heather Zick Design is a full-service firm focused on residential, commercial, hospitality and wellness design. We perform all aspects involved in the design and management of new construction, renovation, redesign and decorating projects.

Our mission is to honor the inherent details of the space while marrying our client’s vision with our design perspective to bring out the best that the space has to offer. We believe strongly, in the influence that our surroundings have to enhance and improve the quality of our life, or inhibit it. Now more than ever, the spaces that we move through, socialize in, create, and live in need to support and sustain our mind, body, and spirit. Big advantages can be achieved through simple shifts in the adjustment of the color palette, materials, layout and flow of a space. We understand these aspects of design well and incorporate this approach into all of our work.

We collaborate with a trusted team of architects, contractors, craftsman, and vendors with whom we’ve developed strong relationships with over the years. We choose only to work with other professionals who elicit a positive experience and consistent quality.
